Rome is never enough, at least if you don't live among its walls. But, is there life outside the Walls of Rome? would wonder the Bard. Hamletic question. What's for sure is the tangible presence of an almost endless amount of past time / years / days / events / whatever, I mean life, remembrances. And what a past. Value the esthetic beauty, ponder the intrinsic social meaning, imagine the thousands of admirers passed by during the centuries. Close the eyes and touch the forms, if you please, breath deeply, be part of it. In Rome, beauty is definitely not a state of mind.
