Kerkennah Islands, Tunisia

A few miles off shore from the Tunisian Coast, surrounded by the blue waters of the Mediterranean, the Kerkennah Islands do not rely much on tourism but mostly on octopus fishing and olive crops. People are gentle and mellow, and the women are said to be beautiful, since this is the place where the ladies from the fabulous harems in Tunis came to spend the last years of their life.
